ABOUT US
WHY FOUNDATIONS?
Foundations Hockey was created to make skills-based training available through age-appropriate instruction, proper practice structure, and a fun learning environment.
Whether you aspire to play hockey at a competitive level or to skate recreationally, our team will help you build the foundation necessary to maximize your potential in the sport and to play the game confidently for years to come.OBJECTIVES
Foundations Hockey’s principal objective is to ensure that students have a sound skill and knowledge base on which to build their hockey futures. Through our program, each student will be equipped with the tools necessary to advance their hockey career from both an individual and a team perspective.
OUR APPROACH
At Foundations Hockey, we put players’ lasting enjoyment of the game of hockey above all else. We create highly-individualized, fun lessons that teach skills and their applicability to game situations so that students gain the confidence to play hockey at any level and the enthusiasm to do so throughout their lives.
STRUCTURE
Foundations Hockey provides instruction in private and semi-private lessons as well as through group or team practice sessions. Each lesson is designed by our coaches to ensure age and level-appropriate training that optimizes learning. We partner with players and parents to set short and long-term goals, track each student’s progress, develop strengths, and correct areas where improvement is needed.
